Ordinance on the prohibition of gatherings and movement in public areas
We would like to inform you that on 19 March 2020, the Government of the Republic of Slovenia adopted an Ordinance on the temporary prohibition of gatherings and movement of people in public areas in the Republic of Slovenia (hereinafter referred to as the Ordinance link: https://www.uradni-list.si/_pdf/2020/Ur/u2020030.pdf).
The Ordinance states that from 20 March 2020 from 00:00 until the revocation of the Ordinance, the movement and gatherings of people in public places and areas in the Republic of Slovenia is prohibited and access to public places and areas in the Republic of Slovenia is also prohibited. The Ordinance also applies in the area of Študentski dom Ljubljana, where movement, access and gatherings in public places, while maintaining a safe distance to other individuals, are exceptionally allowed in the following cases: access to health services, pharmacies, grocery stores, post offices, banks, gas stations and in few other cases. Movement, access, and gatherings in a public place are also allowed, within the limits of the mentioned exceptions, to immediate family members or members of a collective household, and if possible, please provide a safe distance to the similar groups.
We urge you to comply with this prohibition, as violations are subject to a fine in the amount between € 70.00 and € 400.00. All these measures are taken in order to protect all residents of the Republic of Slovenia, so we again urge you to comply with them.
