Coronavirus guidelines
Dear residents of ŠDL,
In accordance with the instructions of the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport (MIZŠ) regarding identified cases of infected with coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) in northern Italy and in places where the virus is more widespread, we at Študentski dom Ljubljana prepared the following guidelines for the prevention of spreading the disease, in order to avoid complications:
- Avoid close contact with people, who show signs of infectious disease.
- Do not touch eyes, nose, and mouth.
- If we get sick, stay at home (in a room, apartment).
- We follow the rules of cough hygiene.
- We wash our hands regularly using soap and water.
- If water and soap are not available, use a dedicated hand sanitizer to disinfect hands. The alcohol content of the hand sanitizer should be at least 60%. Hand sanitizer is for external use only. Surface cleaners/disinfectants are not intended for cleaning/disinfecting the skin.
- Taking into consideration the current epidemiological situation, general use of protective masks is not necessary.
- In times of increased respiratory infections, we avoid closed spaces, where there are lots of people. We take care of regular aeration of closed spaces.
If there are any signs suggesting infection with coronavirus (fever, cough, shortness of breath, heavy breathing), call the Zdravstveni dom Ljubljana (Health Center Ljubljana) by phone +386-(0)31-619-255 and e-mail vprasanja.mizs@gov.si. Do not go there unannounced, so you would not infect others. The health service is informed of and well prepared for suspected infection with coronavirus.
We also advise you to inform your guests or acquaintances from higher-risk countries to postpone their visit to ŠDL until further notice.
We also advise you to follow the websites and social networks of the National Institute of Public Health (https://www.nijz.si/sl/koronavirus-2019-ncov), the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
We will keep you updated on any further information.
ŠDL Management,
